These are the weddings that remind me why I do what I do. When I’m invited into something so intimate, I don’t just get to document a day… I get to know the people, the stories, and the connections that make it all so meaningful. One of the most special parts of my experience with Marissa was a private session we did after the shower, where Marissa re-created her parents’ wedding photos in her mom’s actual dress. It was magic. When you release your grip, and simply allow what’s called to make its way, that’s when the real magic happens. :) Because nothing matters. And everything does.
