I’m Lexi, a New York–based photographer, creative director, and founder of LIGHTHAUS Creative Studio, with over a decade of experience bringing stories, people, and ideas to life through imagery.
My work lives at the intersection of storytelling and artistry, from documenting weddings and the connections between people to creating intentional visuals that help individuals and businesses express who they are.
Rooted in Western New York and available wherever the work takes me, I've built my career around the belief that photography should be more than something beautiful to look at. It should make you feel something, tell a story, and hold meaning long after the moment has passed.
Whether I'm documenting a wedding day or collaborating with a brand to bring a creative vision to life, my approach is thoughtful, intuitive, and rooted in genuine connection. I believe in knowing when to step back, when to offer direction, and how to create space for something authentic to unfold.
At the heart of it all, I love what I do, the people I get to meet, and the stories I have the privilege of telling.
a little about me…
I’m a 31-year-old photographer, creative director, and feeler based in Buffalo, NY. What began as a quiet spark in 2015 has grown into a career that's taken me across cities, states, and oceans, documenting over 150 love stories and collaborating with some incredible people along the way.
I grew up in Syracuse, NY, in a house full of love, noise, and warmth, tucked between two sisters and raised by the most supportive humans I know, Chris and Patty. Being the middle child taught me to carve out my own voice, to show up, speak up, and lean all the way in. That energy has followed me through every chapter of my life.
In college, I studied Exercise Science with plans of becoming a Physical Therapist, but the ache to create just wouldn't quiet down. I've always been someone who feels deeply, notices the little things, and finds beauty in the fleeting. Photography became the place where all of that made sense, where emotion, memory, and art collide.
Over the years, my work has evolved beyond weddings into branding, creative direction, and helping people bring their ideas to life through imagery. That same passion led me to open LIGHTHAUS Creative Studio in Buffalo, a space dedicated to creativity, connection, and collaboration. Whether I'm documenting a love story or helping a business tell its own, I find so much purpose in creating something meaningful with the people who trust me.
